MOGG srl is a new company of complementary furniture, which opens its doors to the Milan Furniture Fair 2012.

SICIS

TapLab Wallcoverings was born from the intuition of Carlo Cambi, founder and creative director of the brand, originally contemporary art publisher; his father started in 1953 with a printing company specialised in printing catalogs; over the years the company managed by Carlo evolved to a digital printing one. 

TapLab Wall coverings are made in their laboratory in Tuscany and all the collections can be realized on several kinds of materials, such as vinyl (for interior decoration) and Fiber Glass (for damp spaces like bathrooms and shower rooms, for outdoor, but also as sound-proof system). The flagship product is LABSCENT, an extremely special scented wall covering, born from the collaboration between TapLab and Teatro Fragranze Uniche Firenze. Thanks to a special technique this original covering combines quality and style with delicate fragrances making any living space even more welcoming. 

Each decoration can be customised in colors and sizes, in order to perfectly match with floors, fabrics, and furniture in any the room. All the products are printed with certified ecological inks.

Antica Officina del Farmacista was born in Florence in 1983 out of the passion of Dr. Paolo Vranjes a pharmacist, chemist and cosmetologist who creates and manufactures, together with his team of assistants, exclusive products that are the result of a perfect combination between innovative techniques and extensive research in tradition.

A special attention to the quality of every product, from the internal creation of every essence to the research of a packaging designed and realized with the finest materials and the choice of Florentine master craftsmen as suppliers, has been the company's driving force. Founded in 1921 by Paolo Venini, a Milanese lawyer, and Giacomo Cappellin, a Venetian antiques dealer, Venini SpA, then Cappellin, Venini & C., would become a model of excellence in the world of artistic glass, laying the foundations for a stylistic identity that still distinguishes it today. Over the years, Venini has entered into important partnerships with such artists as Napoleone Martinuzzi, Carlo Scarpa, and Vittorio Zecchin and, in the postwar period, with Gio Ponti, Fulvio Bianconi, Tapio Wirkkala, and Mimmo Rotella, not to mention the contribution of contemporary designers and architects the likes of Peter Marino, Ron Arad, Tadao Ando, Gae Aulenti, Doriana e Massimiliano Fuksas, Ettore Sottsass, Alessandro Mendini, Gaetano Pesce, Emmanuel Babled, Francesco Lucchese, Monica Guggisberg, Philip Baldwin, Michela Cattai, Hani Rashid, Lise Anne Couture, Benjamin Moore Dan Dailey, Giorgio Vigna and many others. With over fifty years experience, Budri is the worldwide leader in Artistic Italian Marble Inlay. Budri collaborates with architects and designers supporting them as expert partner in all development phases of their projects. Founded in 1968 by Enrico and Antonia Astori and Adelaide Acerbi, Driade quickly gained fame for ground-breaking design ideas and a very innovative manufacturing policy.

The dialectic between “furniture” and “equipment” generated long-standing collaboration with the most influential designers of the 1970’s as if to form an ideal gallery of “art editions”.

The mid-1990’s saw the birth of DriadeStore, a collection of furniture and objects for day-to-day living designed for all audiences and focusing on good design and production-system optimization.

In 2013, the company was taken over by ItalianCreationGroup, an Italian industrial holding company that buys and steps up the pace of growth in small and medium-sized enterprises that are known for their exceptional Italian creativity.

Kith Cafe

Tokyo practice Klein Dytham Architecture referenced traditional Japanese festivals, bathhouses, fishponds and timber houses for the interior of Google's Japan office, located in the Roppongi Hills tower in central Tokyo.

Occupying several floors of the Roppongi Hills tower, Google Japan is intended to repeat the colourful and fun designs of the internet company's other offices, but to also bring elements of local history and culture into each of the spaces as Google request that each of their national offices around the world reflects the unique culture of its location.

The designers chose Stefano Giovannoni’s Magis Family First and Jasper Morisson’s Trattoria Sedia to create a colourful, simple yet comfortable seating in the large lunch room accommodating hundreds of Google employees daily.

Google Office

Milano is the second stop on the European tour of THE CUBE, a nomadic, stateless and cosmopolitan piece of architecture.

The dining pavilion seats 18 people for lunch or dinner and offers a superlative view of Piazza del Duomo, just a few meters away from the Cathedral’s spires, facing Palazzo Reale and the Arengario, the area hosting the new Museo del Novecento.

The interior of the the Cube has been designed to accommodate various configurations; the pavilion consists of a large open space with a visible kitchen and a single large table that can disappear by raising it to the ceiling, allowing space for a lounge area after dinner. The total floor area of 140 sqm is divided between the open space and a 50 sqm terrace. The employed materials are highly innovative in terms of technology, eco-sustainability and energy saving, as well as constantly reusable.

The Cube Restaurant

9HOTEL COLLECTION opened their third lifestyle hotel, ideally located in the museum district of Brussels. Working within a former hotel site, architects Jordi Veciana and Jordi Castel were intent on maintaining the original structural elements in their simplest, purest form, incorporating exposed concrete beams, brick walls, slabs and pillars into the interior design to reveal the building’s rich history. Interior designer, Skye Maunsell worked alongside the architects on the hotel’s décor and furnishings.

Common areas underwent extensive work to improve the natural flow of their spaces and are complimented by the 47 spacious loft-style guest rooms. Anglepoise® Type75™ Mini table, floor and wall lamp were introduced into both the reception area and into bedrooms, their clean, modernist lines ideally suited to the ultimate simplicity of the hotel interiors. Clever touches include a breakfast space that transforms into a co-working space, a 5 meter long sofa, where guests can enjoy the lobby’s lounge music in an acoustic sound bubble, and decorative found objects, many from India, that give unique character to the interior spaces.

Open from breakfast though brunch and lunch to supper, the new site also incorporates a takeaway foods, hot drinks and juice bar, a well-stocked bakery, a craft beer and wine shop, an oyster bar, a cheese and charcuterie corner, a cocktail bar and a pie room. Multiple Anglepoise® Original 1227™ Pendant, Desk and Wall Mounted Lights dominate the entire ground floor space, complemented by furniture from Ercol, Benchmark and Bethan Gray.
