Bitossi

Bitossi Ceramiche is one of the most historic ceramic manufacturers in Italy, rooted in the centuries-old ceramic tradition of Montelupo Fiorentino, Tuscany. Founded in 1921, the company has remained family-run for generations, combining artisanal craftsmanship with an enduring spirit of artistic experimentation.

Throughout the 20th century, Bitossi became a key voice in Italian design, shaping the language of modern ceramics through collaborations with leading designers and artists. Under the long-standing artistic direction of Aldo Londi, the brand developed iconic collections such as Rimini Blu, now celebrated worldwide and held in major design collections, together with collections designed by Ettore Sottsass, Fabio Novembre, Formafantasma, Patricia Urquiola and many more well recognized designers.

Today, Bitossi Ceramiche continues to produce handmade pieces entirely in Italy, balancing heritage techniques with contemporary creativity. Each object reflects a dialogue between tradition and innovation, material research and expressive form—an ongoing story of craftsmanship, design, and cultural identity.
